Colores de Carol Hitchhiking Adventure Collection

Guess what ladies? Today is my three year blogiversary! Woot! To celebrate I will be having a giveaway starting tomorrow of the new Colores de Carol Hitchhiking Collection. So make sure to come back tomorrow to enter! I'm really excited about this collection because Carolina asked me to help with the theme and names of the individual polishes. I love what we've come up with!

Formula and application:
Colores de Carol polishes are all 5-free (meaning no Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor). All five of these polishes have a smooth, self-leveling, jelly like consistency and similar application. They all dry to a glossy finish. I didn't have any issues except the pink shade Gypsy Spirit is a stainer.

Bottle and brush:
The bottles contain .5 fl.oz./ 15ml. The brushes are skinny and round. The length is medium sized and flexes well for application.

Bogus Journey is an intense cherry red scattered holo with holo flakes and micro holo glitter. My photos wanted to lean a little orange so I adjusted them as well I could, but it's definitely a true cherry red in person. The formula was perfect and this was two coats, no top coat.

Carefree Caravan is an intense reddish orange scattered holo with holo flakes and holo glitter. I think I got my photos just right here. I don't usually wear orange but this shade is just gorgeous and looks very flattering on my skin tone. Another perfect formula here. This was two coats, no top coat.

Gypsy Spirit is a bright magenta Barbie pink scattered holo with silver holo flakes and micro holo glitter. It's so pretty and sparkly! This formula was a tad thicker and transparent, and shows the glitter even stronger. Application was still good and I only needed two coats, no top coat. Warning: this is a stainer! You can see in my photo that it got my pinky's cuticle.

Road Warrior is a black scattered holo with holo flakes and holo micro glitter. The density of the black hides the holo more in this shade compared to the others but it's still noticeable. This type of black is a basic essential in my book. This was two coats, no top coat.

Nomad-er Where We Go is an avocado green scattered holo with generous gold holo flakes and holo micro glitter. This is a true ugly-pretty shade and I can't help but like it! Similar to Gypsy Spirit, the formula is less opaque and the glitters more visible. Just a tad thicker, but good application. This was two coats, plus top coat.

Each polish retails for $11 and they are all available now at the Colores de Carol website. Make sure to use my code NPSOCIETY for 10% off your order!
