Born Pretty Store Product Review

*Products were provided to me for review

Hello everyone! How are y'all doing? Has this been the longest week ever for you too? Seriously, how is it not Friday yet. Well on the bright side, I have another great post for you! Today I have three products to review from the Born Pretty Store. Enjoy!

The first product is a continuous pattern Quirky Arabesque stamping plate. These patterns are really beautiful and so my style. I was able to get some good results from most of this plate. Some areas of the plate however were harder to stamp than others, mostly along the edges. The plate is not very deeply etched, so it requires a light hand.

My nail beds are large, and I usually only buy "XL" plates to fit both width and height. This plate was attractive to me because the designs all flow together pretty seamlessly, and I didn't have to worry about blank spots.

I used piCture pOlish Freya's Cats as my base color and stamped with Konad Special Polish in white.

Next item up is this sheet of water decals. The application was really easy and the instructions on the back were accurate and useful (not always the case). When I first applied them to the nail they didn't lay completely smooth and looked a little crinkly. Once I applied topcoat all the creases smoothed out and the finished product looked good. The one downside is that there is only one sheet and it limits your options a bit. For example, if you wanted to use the strawberry pattern, it could only be used on maybe four nails.

The base polishes I used were (left to right) OPI OPI Eurso..Euro, Essie Bikini So Teeny, and Zoya Purity. Have you noticed that I use those blues a lot?

Lastly I have this 200 piece variety wheel o' studs (that's not what it's called, but would be a great name for a dating show!). Up until a few weeks ago I had never worn any sort of nail jewelry. I never knew how I'd feel about it, but I have to admit, I like it! My other recent manis featuring these studs can be found here, here and here.

These are so fun because of the variety, you can make them any color with nail polish, and they're reusable. I didn't think about that last fact (duh) until I was removing them from my nail and they still looked good as new.

I've found that the Born Pretty Store is a really great place to shop, especially if you are just venturing out into nail art. It's a inexpensive way to experiment and have fun. I made my first purchase with them just after I started my blog. I also want to mention that a few months ago I had one of my orders lost in the mail. I contacted their customer service and they resent the whole order. The shipping always takes a long time, but I really appreciated that they were concerned with getting it to me.

Here are the links to each item:
Stamping plate- $2.99
